Calculus II
Preface
These notes are meant to accompany lectures in Math 120, Calculus II, at Carleton College. They are non-exhaustive and not intended to replace the textbook (Stewart et al. 2020)—you will find that entries tend to be on the shorter side, preferring to point readers to sections of the textbook for further study rather than explaining a topic or proving a theorem. The exceptions to this are 1 Review, which covers Pre-Calculus and Calculus I material that often calls for a brief refresher, and 2 SageMath, which describes both the installation and initial use of SageMath in preparation for the course material.
These notes can be used to prepare for lecture, as an outline for lecture notes, as a coding resource, and as a study reference for major topics and examples.
